Drum Roll Please.....
I am very excited to announce that I will be holding a Ladies Summer Top sew along. So, if you fancy making clothes but don't know where to start this is for you!
It will start on the 1st May and every 2nd day there will be a post taking you through every step of making a sleeveless summer top, this is the itinerary:
1st May: Printing and assembling and cutting out the pattern and a bit about fabric.
3rd May: Which size? Cutting the fabric
5th May: Darts and Pleats
6th May: Attaching front to back and checking fit
8th May: Making bias binding
10th May: Attaching bias binding
12th May: Hems and finishing!
This is the pattern we will be using (it is a free download so feel free to download it now in preparation).
This is totally free, the only thing I ask is for you to either follow this blog or sign up for email notifications of posts so you don't miss anything and comment on this post so I know who is going to be joining in!
So, dust off the sewing machine, choose some fabric (dressmaking weight cotton is perfect for this) and come back on the 1st May!
See you then,
